Tarepanda (by San-X) is my favorite kawaii character. He's an adorable panda who's so lazy he rolls around to get anywhere! Panda bears are my very favorite animal (I feel I am most like a panda bear because I too, have dark circles around my eyes, have very low energy and am a picky eater) so this guy strikes a soft spot. That fact coupled with his adorable trademark eyes make it so that I

love this little guy. A panda that sleeps a lot is something I can relate to!

My current kawaii collection consists mostly of Tarepanda products. I have 9 plushies, a pencil case, a lunchbag/handbag, some stickers and the "Everything Tarepanda" book.

Oyasumi Bakura (San-X) is a recent find that quickly became my second all-time favorite kawaii character. I love characters that are obscure animals and this little guy definitely fits the bill. He's a tapir, a dream spirit and a pillow! He's a guardian of resting and gives people sweet dreams. He will cast his sleep spell on unsuspecting creatures in the forest as well. Sleeping with him always gives you good dreams! I absolutely love anything that has to do with sleeping or dreams! I wish I had a tapir dream-eating spirit to sleep with so it would keep any bad dreams at bay!

Kutusita Nyanko is a cat with white "boots" on his feet. He is mischievous, friendly and playful; everything a cat should be! Kutusita Nyanko kinda reminds me of my kitty, who looks like a cross between Kutusita Nyanko and a panda bear! The way he understands the world is that his owner ("Papa") must go to work everyday to fight for cat food. How adorable! He likes to spend time with his friends or helping with chores around the house.
